Heating Oil

Very general question as to whether anyone has shopped around for domestic heating oil recently?  I was just wondering whether prices varied much between suppliers or if they seemed to be much of a muchness.

Bear in mind there are two grades of fuel (see here for a previous discussion).

The latest monthly average prices are shown below (divide by 100 for price per litre) (source):

Hi,

      It pays to haggle a bit when ordering (at least from small suppliers), I have just got 2cents a litre off a 600l order by saying to the original quote (of 71cents per l)---" C'est un peu cher,n'est pas?"
