I began renovating as well as starting a business, I thought I'd be here for a while...Now, my French girlfriend wishes to move to an area better suited for her work and compatable with mine.So I must sell.My question for the panel is...Will I be liable for tax on any difference between the purchase price and selling price?I can't say that I was very diligent in keeping reciepts for materials etc and I did all the work myself or with friends.
