woolybanana
One can buy meters which either clamp onto individual electrical gubbins or onto the system somewhere which permit one to read how much electricity is being used. What are they called in English please and, more imoprtant, what in French? Time I got mean with the bills! As a follow up, does anyone know what their wifi box costs to run, svp? Rabbie
Wooly, my wifi router is rated at about 8 watts so I would guess it costs about £10 pa to run. That's at UK prices so you would need to do the calculations based on your tariff
Théière
Likewise Rabbie, around 8 watts. Wooly if you're not on an TFT screen but still using the big cathode ray job that will murder the electricity by comparison
NormanH
You can use a site like this to estimate your consumption (it uses dollars but you just transpose € into the total) http://electrical-engineering-portal.com/resources/calculators/energy-consumption-calculatorIt looks as if Prices will go up again in January by 2.3% then again in August by 5.5%..
