Val_2
If you are brave why not enquire at the local ANPE (job centre) you never know what they might have although speaking and writing french is an assett which if you don't have much of will let you down. Local papers have lots of jobs advertised on Saturdays and we have found that placing adverts on that day brings a lot of enquiries or else why not put an ad in the Demande section stating your qualifications and availability. You don't get unless you ask. Whatever you do,should you find employment with a firm be prepared to accept a lot lower wage than the UK and be subjected to a medical visit. Scarlettulip
LAST EDITED ON 05-Mar-04 AT 05:01 PM (GMT)I wonder how many on this forum pitched up in France with no job and claimed employment benefits, and how many still are unemployed. Also how many people have retired to France and are adding to the ageing none productive population, soon to become a drain on the French health care system? Anyway back to work, have you tried the big holiday campsites they always want people.
