RER A favours the rich...?

I work in Cergy, so I need to get the RER line A to work (from central Paris)... unfortunately for me there are also branches going to Poisy, St Germain, and Cergy.

I was more than a bit peeved to see pretty much 5 of 6 consequtive trains going to St Germain , so wrote to the SNCF (see mail and reply).

A colleague here has done some more research which proves ;
