missmonkey
Hi there, moving over in around 2 months to live and work in the Paris region. My husband is Irish and I am canadian and will have only just applied for my Irish citizenship. I have been informed that through EU regulation I am entitled to work wherever he is, and so have accepted an offer to relocate from my current employer here in Ireland. As I am the French speaker and he is to stay at home with the kiddies. So I was told that we get there and register at the prefecture.... but in reality what does that mean?? and what steps will we have to take, do I get a french equivalent to a PPS or Social security number? Thanks!
