UK qualified plumber /gasfitter. What is necessary for trade registration in France please?

My husband is a City and Gulds qual plumber/gasfitter with 30 yrs experience.

We came to New Zealand 18 months ago. Its unlikely we shall stay. There is a registration process and qualification assessment for entry to NZ to practice your  trade.

What is necessary for working as a plumber/gasfitter in France please?

Do you think there would be full time work for a UK bloke?
