Iceni Posted February 3, 2006 Share Posted February 3, 2006 Having run a business in France for over 18 months - transferred from the UK, so I came over with 2 years unemployment benefit if needed (they just sent me a letter saying this) I wondered if there was any sick pay as I am the sole earner. I am registered with the Chamber of Commerce.Went for some tests for face/tooth problems and have come out needing further tests for something totally different which is showing just how fast the French medical system works when they think there is a need for it.If I need to be off work for some time I will not have a buisness or will need to think about starting again/doing something new. I don't know, I thought 2005 was a bit on the rough side - so far in one month 2006 is well ahead in the cr*p stakes.Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
