I am a CORGI Registered engineer will this count for anything in France? Can you make a good living? We knew a CORGI registered brit gas fitter and he could not work here,he had to requalify on a french course and because he didn't speak french didn't try. He had to return to the UK after two years of no work - better be warned now than arrive and find you have made a big mistake. This is unfortunately the side of french living they don't tell you about on those progs. If you really want to know the details of working in France with gas,then I suggest you visit your local Chambre de Metiers and get the details from them on qualifications required because you will need insurance to work here.
