Teamedup
The simple answer is no. They have consummer advice groups and to use them you have to join their association. There is also the DGCCRF which is a sort of trading standards, only not quite as there never seem to be enough staff or offices.
Cjlaws
TU is absolutely correct. There is no equivalent of the CAB in France.CAB advisors interview clients, help them negotiate with people such as creditors or service providers, draft letters, make telephone calls on behalf of clients, refer them to other agencies, represent them in court and at tribunals. A website such as Service Public gives information, not active assistance. www.quechoisir.org is roughly equivalent to The Consumers Association.Katy1975 - If you tell us what sort of help you need, then someone on this forum will at least be able to point you in the right direction

Cjlaws
katy1975 - I rather thought that your query might be about using your CAB skills in France.Try posting at http://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/201/ShowForum.aspx
