cooperlola
How long has your business been in existence, Frank? The new regulations state that if you have run a business here, then you can apply to join the CMU.

Clair
As far as I am aware, the RMI is a "top-up" benefit. Its amount is calculated according to whatever income you receive, including unemployment benefit, if you qualify for it.This page shows what is taken into account and what is disregarded when calculating the amount of RMI you may receive: http://vosdroits.service-public.fr/As far as health cover is concerned, you may qualify for the CMU, where your basic costs would be covered. That too is income-based.Your best bet, as before, is to contact your social services via the mairie. They should be able to advise you and help you claim what you are entitled to.
