jon Posted March 5, 2008 Share Posted March 5, 2008 Is this the beginng and the end of the brokers in uk and the immobiliers who offer vague or misleading detail in exchange for a 5/6 percent fee on a French house sale.Now that it is no longer a sellers market.What is on offer from an agent...what should be offered by an agent for his/her fee? I spoke to an agent the other week who said I could advertise on his (pretty good) website for €6 euros a month or he would take me on his books for €18,000 (albeit no sale-no fee). He was at somewhat of a loss when I asked what I got extra in the way of marketing for the additional €17,994 this month (his marketing is exclusively online - no shopfront, no newspaper ads except those advertising his website etc).
