mooky
for those of us not in the know what does this mean please.
ebaynut
It means that you can advertise 'most' items (there are some exclusions), whatever the starting price at 5p per item, instead of the usual graduated prices. This can save a lot if you have a few expensive items to list, so that you don't get stung so much if it doesn't sell.5p per item to attract a worldwide marketplace is very reasonable, a good time to try and see if you have any valuable treasures! Anne&Gordon
I am intrigued, can you sell things on UK ebay whilst being in France? How do you explain to buyers the postage costs etc? Presumably one has to have a sterling account but how does it all work?? Sounds as though it must be complicated!!
ebaynut
Yes, you can sell anything on any site you choose, ie: registered in France/UK http://www.ebay.fr/ or http://www.ebay.co.uk/, sell on FR/UK/USA site.....wherever, but the 5p listing day only covers items being advertised on the UK site. You need a 'Paypal' account to buy/sell internationally, registered with a credit card, and Paypal will convert the currency (for a fee [:-))])You would be wise to read 'this thread', which covers many topics, and gives lots of advice.
