micahmccauley
Hey everyone. My name's Micah and I'm new here to the forums. Undoubtedly this question has been asked at least 1000 times on here, so I'll go ahead and make this 1,001. You see I'm doing an assistanthship in the city of Nancy, France for next school year. I'll be an English assistant teacher to one of the professors there and was just wondering about the possibility of making a career out of teaching English in France. I have a comfortable grasp on the language already, and I studied there for a year. I know that there are various organizations such as TEFL, but that's about it. I love France and would just love to find a way to make my life over there. Any advice you could offer would be great.THANKSMicah
Pickles
Errmmm .... you have asked this before. How are you going to overcome the work permit/visa issues (after the period covered by your course) since you appear to be a US citizen?http://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/2421985/ShowPost.aspxRegardsPickles
