I want to set up and register my company here in France but my target market is in Switzerland.My company name is based on a Swiss city. Can I operate my company in France even though my revenu will come from Switzerland. If you live in France and you start your own business, either online or not, then you have to register the business in France, declare your income in France, pay tax/cotisations in France, etc. It's where you live and work, ie run your business from, that's significant, not where your clients/customers are.You will need to look into the different options as regards business structures, and also how you have to deal with income from outside of France as regards TVA, book-keeping etc.Good luck with your venture.
