Wardenscottage
We are having a house built in a conservation area in the middle of a small village. The house has to be placed within strict boundaries i.e 5 metres from the road at the front and a minimum of 3.45m from our neighbours on the other 3 sides. Can a small swimming pool be built within these areas?
Teamedup
You'll have to ask at your Mairie, we cannot answer on here as local planning regs do vary.
Alan
i agree you will need to get it checked out. the people building our pool said there would be no problem as the pool was classed as portable because it had metal sides ( not that anybody would go to the trouble of digging it out one installed).the mairie said provided the pool was 8 metres from the boundaries we would be ok.we completed the declaration de travaux exemptes de permis de construire which came back requiring the builders to provide proof that we were 8 metres away. the builders could not beleive it as they said this had never happened before
