0001helen
I have woken up with the fantastic idea / new obsession (until it all goes wrong!) of making a 'mini patio' in the area loosely termed my front garden. I only want to lay a few slabs of crazy paving using a tile mold i have over an area roughly large enough to accomodate a small round table and two chairs (about 6 metres square). i know the old rule about needing permission for anything that changes the exterior of a property but do mini patios count? I'd love to do this work this weekend (not sure other half will be so keen though!)
val2
I think you are fairly safe just doing this work, its hardly a building construction is it. If the mairie had to sanction every little piece of alteration to people's gardens, they would never leave the place when you see what some people have achieved with their creativity. No, go ahead and enjoy the fruits of your labours especially with the good weather at the moment.
