There is very little land also, and at the moment it all drains off into the field next door. When we bought our first house last year there was no fosse and the vendor at their expense put one in. Val_2 Posted July 22, 2004 Share Posted July 22, 2004 Yes, new regs for 2005 which will be much more stringent and will have precedence over any other building work you may wish to obtain permission for. There are different types of fosses available and you sound as though you will have to have a small pumping station installed. Your local mairie and SATESE dept at the local prefecture will help you with your requirements but do make sure your installer knows what he is doing and gets the paperwork right or you could find trouble further on.
