Jo Posted August 7, 2006 Share Posted August 7, 2006 We are in the process of buying a property in France, the seller has increased the size of the plot to get a sale, including a piece he didn't intend to sell initially. He had already laid a pipe across this land (buried) to drain rainwater from his barn to the new house he has built himself two fields away, he has asked for a servitude to be included in the contract so that he can maintain the pipe and also that we plant no trees within 5 mtrs of the pipe.
