Sue56
Our fosse has now been installed. The Assainissement people are very happy everything has been done correctly. Apparently, we don't get issued with a certificate - everything is just kept on file and verbal OK is enough.Has anyone had experience of this? Is this the norm? Thanks. Moorejw
No, you should be issued with a letter stating that your system conforms with the current Norms. This is something that you may need to present to the authorities or future purchasers, so ask for it!John and Angie Moore (17)
Primrose
Once ours fosse had been checked and passed, we received a certificate to comfirm that all was ok, this was sent via our marie who also signed it. We have been told that we need to keep all documents like this, as when we come to sell it is proof that work had been carried out with proper authorisation. Hope this to be of assistanceKind regardsDavid and Sam (Dept 37)
