Dmfaux
I am thinking of installing solar energy solution for partial heating of home and to provide hot water. Has anyone any experience of solar, costs and suppliers/ installers, in the Pau area or close that I can contact for further information. Thanks
JohnM
I keep thinking about Solar energy but I don't seem to be able to find any nice simple websites that will help me. I keep trying to fight though http://www.ademe.fr/default.htm but there is just so much of it (for a bear with very little brain). I particularly like the sound of generating electricy and then selling it back to EDF, but as I'm in a Regie I'm not sure if I can.
Dick Smith
You might get some info from the website of a guy I know, Michel Youhttp://m.you.free.fr/maison/index2.htmlHe is/was a lecturer at a lycee and just went berserk on electrifying his house... JohnM
Thanks. That's a very useful site - your friend is certainly an enthusiast (I particularly like the solar powered boat!) John
JohnM
As a result of being motivated by looking at the site Dick suggested, I did another search or two and have found out that The 2004 Sustainable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Environmental Solutions Expos will take place from 19-21 October at Olympia in London. If you are interested in attending, go to http://www.solartwin.com/ and they have a link for a free ticket!JohnI know I could have edited my last message but I need to get my numbers up again
Dick Smith
How did you get the URL to come up as a link? It wouldn't do it for me.
