Does anyone know what we can do with the field or whether it would be worth trying to sell it? Or would it be better to hang onto the field. WendyG Posted August 21, 2006 Share Posted August 21, 2006 As another person said land of that size is not very valuable on its own, but is usually a good selling point if and when you come to dispose of your property in the future.Whatever you do, do not take any monies or gifts in kind for the use of it by anyone as this then entitles the user to hang on to it for something like 11 years! We have about 4/5 acres which an English friend close by uses for hay and to put her horses on. This is all done without any payment for its use.
