Dreamers
Has anyone had experience of electric UFH , mainly I would like to know how efficient it is with carpetting (ie bedrooms). would it have to be a special underlay or carpet if it is fitted etc??? Lewisra
You don't say what sort of sub-floor you have or if you are burying it in a new concrete floor. We have used two different makes of UFH, both of which were fiddly to lay. They were on the surface of a concrete floor then tiled over using flexible tile cement and grout.Seems to work quite well. We have come across a newish system (appears to be much easier to lay) which can be laid under carpets, but not the foambacked variety.
