We are placing a woodburner in the converted barn/sitting room which has no chimney so the information on chimney/flue construction will be particularly useful.We are lucky as we have just been given a large woodburner and think we will go for the floor to rafters fixed mat black flue to keep as much heat in the room as possible.The only difficulty we have now is how to strengthen the rafters to take the weight of the external chimney and whether these can be bought ready made in France.cheers.......helen Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
