Gwenhwyfar
Have been told by a friend that 'Unibond' (or similar) is not available in France??? Any alternatives?
Dave&Olive
pva wood glue is the same but more expensive alternative .........but pva is not the cure all wonder product it`s made out to be, go onto the screwfix direct web site forum and ask the kitchen/bathroom tilers what they think of it .....put your fingers in your ears before the replies come back, or do a search on past posts on their forum........ Ianhaycox
You can buy PVA glue from an office supply type shop fairly cheaply. Well cheaper then wood glue from a brico.I bought 1 litre for about 3€ locally. I suspect this expensive compared to Unibond (never bought it) but if you are desperate. Dave&Olive
don't use pva to seal plaster if you are going to paint it the water in the emulsion will dissolve the pva and you will get little specs all over the wall best use watered down emulsion or something like wicks paint for new plaster its the only stuff worth buying from wicks it is really good kit....... Gwenhwyfar
Thanks for the replies, no damp as far as I know, looks like watered down emulsion will be my best bet.
