bertie basset
I have recently bought a house in Creuse between Bourganeuf and Gueret, the previous owner left behind a load of rubbish ie: clothes and furniture mainly. Does anybody know of someone that will clear this for me or where I can hire a skip, it would probably only need something like a transit truck to shift the lot. Dave&Olive
welcome to france and the french way of life somtimes but mostly hope this helps from another web siteRe: Skip Hire Posted by Royston on the 28-Nov-04 at 21:48:55Believe it or not the answer is yes, funny enough we have just had a small building demolished and the mason hired a skip, nothing like what we envisaged. Extremely large lorry turned up and started off lifting its back ( Massive). They are called "bennes" and if you look in your French yellow pages ( Les pages jaunes ) under the heading ; " Location de bennes " you should see your local ones advertisedRegards Royston dave

Ianhaycox
Invest in a small trailer and take all the rubbish to your local dechetterie (sp?). You'll wonder how you ever got by without a trailer. It will be the best investment ever.
