Whether this was legal or not I don't know, but our Maire was happy enough to pass the time of day over a coffee when he called round to see what we were doing and the local Gendarme waved as he drove past.Best RegardsAlan. But you will need a licence to tow one behind a French car. Strangely enough, you can tow one behind a UK vehicle legally (because your UK licence trailer weights are higher).
