Kandja
I wanted to open up a window in the front of the house that had been blocked in some time ago. I asked at the Marie and they told me I needed to submit a plan drawn up by an Architect as we are near an historical monument and any changes to the facade must be approved.I consulted a local Architect and he visited and saw what was involved. He sent two of his staff down to measure. I queried what they the were doing when they started measuring the whole house, inside and out, front and back. They contacted the Architect who said it was necessary. He then drew up plans and submitted them for approval.Yesterday I had a nice Christmas present of a bill for 2,300 euros plus tax.I realise I should have asked for a price first but surly these charges are not reasonable?Any suggestions for the next step?Happy ChristmasKandja
