St Lo
Hi, Would it be possible for anyone to guide me and to clarify the information that I have received regarding the renovation works that I am undertaking. I have been led to believe that I am able to start and continue with INTERNAL renovations and alterations before I am granted permission for a loft conversion and new window openings. Thanks in advanceSt LO
BJSLIV
The simple answer is yes.You can start renovations before you get permission. However if your renovations are really conversions, and result in additional living space or facilities by changing existing use then the answer is no.So replacing an existing kitchen / bathroom, moving partition walls to reconfigure existing rooms OK. Converting barns, adding bathrooms, converting lofts not OK.
