Ian 56
I am considering installing a shower cabinet in our bathroom. Has anyone who has installed a multi-jet power shower comment on if they are worth the extra expense over a conventional shower and if there are any disadvantages. We live in a town and the water pressure is reasonable. I presume that they work off normal water pressure and do not require an electric pump. I would be buying it in France. ian
Bobc
Dear Ian,French showers of any type run off mains pressure without any need for a pump.If you want to install a cabine with multiple jets then there is a huge choice available. My best advice would be to go to a decent professional plumbing supplier - www.gapsa.fr will find you one in your area of France.Lapeyre - www.lapeyre.fr have a big range, but at rather inflated prices. Many of the bricos also stock cabines, but apart from the odd bargain on promo these are usually of very poor quality. The cheapest option is to buy the components (available from most Gapsa suppliers) and built the pipework, controls and jets into the walls and then tile.Regards,Bob Clarkehttp://perso.wanadoo.fr/grindoux
Ian 56
Thanks for your helpful reply Bob. My main concern was that I would not have to install a pump. I will follow your advice and contact the local Gapsa supplier.ian
