Stocky
We are refitting our kitchen and have a large oil fired boiler taking up the space of a cupboard. In the UK we have replaced a floor standing Gas boiler for a wallmounted gas, this works as we have a hot water tank.I have seen a few Oil wallmounted boilers on the internet but as we don't have a hot water tank in France I am not sure it would work. Are they available and has anyone found them economic and successful.
plombier mike
Both Grant boilers and Worcester Bosch produce A rated wall hung oil boilers. Very high efficiency, very compact and relatively easy to install. In the UK, as from Aproil 1st, all new boilers must be of the condensing variety. Not sure how that applies to the French view point but, basically, for every euro spent on fuel 97 cents worth is converted into useable energy. Both manufacturers have boilers that will fit into a small wall hung kitchen unit.
