Bobc
For anyone involved in woodworking - either on your own restoration project or commercially, take a look at CutlistPlus - www.cutlistplus.comIf you are making windows, doors, kitchens or furniture of any type it enables you to plan your wood purchasing and cutting very simply. If you are producing furniture, etc commercially the Gold version enables you to produce customer quotes. There is a free trial version available for download. No connection other than a satisfied user.Regards,Bob Clarkehttp://perso.wanadoo.fr/grindoux

Bobc
"Don't they realise that Norm Abram uses a Mac?"Good point!I have XP Pro and the software works fine but given the number of Mac users in the US perhaps they should offer a dedicated Mac version.Any thoughts on the software?Kind regards,Bob Clarkehtp://perso.wanadoo.fr/grindoux
Chris Head
Who's Norm Abram?I started to download it but my wife is on a serious chat mode and couldn't concentrate on the two things at once!Seriously tho...a cutting list has always walked me through a project, I know it's time consuming but by the time I've memorised the timber I need, I know the project inside out and rarely need to refer to a plan to complete the work....I worry that a computer would interfere with that process.....I'll try it in the morning before my lovely chatterbox arises!Cheers, Chris
