Jon 1
Do you mean it drips at the group de securite chamber underneath the tank. If this is the case and it does it intermittently when the tank is heating, this is normal.
capdegat
it runs constantly at the groupe de securite even when heating is not on.
mauhoum
http:mauhoum.chez.tiscali.fr
Do you have high water pressure? Mine did the same until I fitted a pressure reducer. Tony
Punch
As mauhoum suggests it could be due to too high water pressure OR the groupe de securité (safety valve). This should be actioned once a month to drain mode to stop it from clogging up with calcium deposit. This is often a cause of this type of leak. The cheaper "groupes" have not got a stainless steel seat and therefore tend to leak more often. Paul
capdegat
thanks it cetainly isn't high preessure so I agree with paul that it must be calcium . we have a big problem here in lot so i've just fitted an electrical calcium reducer ( stable door springs to mind ) Hopefully repacing the group de securite will solve problem . For ever !
