Yvonne Posted May 18, 2005 Share Posted May 18, 2005 HELP....We recently had our fosse septique cleaned and emptied only to be told by the driver that he had no more chemicals on the lorry so hed return within the week to replace lost chemicals. That was 3rd May and despite numerous telephone calls we seem to be unable to get the driver to deliver the chemicals.Please can someone tell me a) what chemicals I need exactly and in what proportions? Please make it simple as I no NOTHING about fosse septiques apart from the fact that ours is probably going to get very smelly very soon if we don't do something!many thanks,Abi Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Opalienne Posted May 18, 2005 Share Posted May 18, 2005 Our emptier just empties - doesn't put down any chemicals, so I'm not sure what he would have been referring to. However, buy Tarax at the supermarket. There is a kind you only need to put down every 6 months, and it works well. There's also an 'emergency' one for unexpected smells.
