maude Posted May 22, 2005 Share Posted May 22, 2005 I have a loose (shallow) gravel parking area which does not like our caravan to move very easily on it where we have to manoevre it to hitch up.Has anyone any cheap ideas to allow us to "bind" the loose surface so we dont run the risk of rupture?I dont want a sqeaky voice before we go away in the ,van.I understand it may be possible to add sharp sand and or grit.Any suggestions short of asphalt/concrete?Maude Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Nick Trollope Posted May 23, 2005 Share Posted May 23, 2005 You could add a 5:1 mix of sharp sand and cement (dry) to the area, wet it and then flatten it with a whacker plate (available from your local hire shop).
