chocccie
I understand there tend to be genuine bargain sales in specific months in France. ie, on month for white goods, another month for bathroom fittings. When have you found the best time to nab a bargain? Thanks folks
Ron Avery
There are sales in France as in the UK but they all start together on a specified dates, I think the post Xmas sales started on january 12 this year. The summer sales on now, not sure when they started. In terms of bargains months, I think you are referring to the themes that the big hypermarkets go through, cleaning stuff in March, D-I-Y stuff in April/May, all the things students need for going away uni in August, (including coffee makers for £3 !!), heating and humidity control stuff in October etc etc. For white goods there does not seem to be any specific dates as this stuff is usually in the normal sales, but people like Darty and Multe-pass always seem to have offers and the latter has 50% off bargains at the moment.
