Danny
Can anyone advise please - I would like to put a WC in our bathroom. There is only sink and bath at the moment. Are there regulations concerning putting soil pipe straight out of our bathroom wall, running it down the wall outside to join another 100mm (horizontal - nearly!) waste pipe just below the ground which runs to our fosse septique. Does it need to be run inside? It would be a lot easier to put it outside.Danny
pinkfluff
Big Wet Drops and Lots of Them, Are a Sure Sign of Rain!
We put ours outside and all the neibours have also. I think there are a few complications about it but these only apply to listed buildings and some towns were the pipe runs at the side of the house coming down to the main public pavment but as you are running into a fosse I dont think you have any trouble
Motorhead
It's weird y'know. You need a dec de travaux for guttering but you don't need it for fosse vent pipes. Soil pipes fall into a kind of no-man's land in between. The simplest thing would be just do it and if anyone asks, it's a vent pipe, OK .
