gert Posted November 4, 2005 Share Posted November 4, 2005 hello,can anyone give me any idea of costs involved in underpinning a house of approx 50sqm and eradication of woodboring insects on the same property. yes i know!! say no more! just trying to work out if it would be viable, any advice appreciated from those with the knowledge or experience of these things, or if anyone knows where i could get the information?many thanks. gert Posted November 4, 2005 Author Share Posted November 4, 2005 hi charles,yes it is a stone house, not sure what the infestation is at this stage, but there`s something in there!! the floorboards have been lifted on the second level and the main beams left. i don`t know if the timber needs replacing? have`nt got that far into it yet but i guess it is possible?. what are your thoughts please.
