0DRLddMMyyyy0Falseen-USTrue
can you only use newspaper, or can you use the glossy leaflets that are put in our letterboxes
Opalienne
We bought one years ago in the UK. Unless things have changed, you have to soak the paper first, so it's a messy process and the bricks take days to dry. We ended up drying ours in the gas oven, which negated any economies we might have made by burning them.
Viv
Yes I think you can use glossy paper, the paper does have to be wet but not falling apart. I think if you plan ahead these could be a useful supplement to burning wood etc.
Deimos
Sounds like something to do over the summer in preparation for the winter. Presumably the local rodent population will love piles of them as well (nice and warm). If you can use glossy paper, does anybody know if you can use “waxy paper” e.g. frozen pizza boxes and the like.Sounds an excellent idea and I will probably try to get one.Ian
