Jonzjob
I am building a small wall, 2,8M X 1,25M high across the front of an open fronted car port to enclose it to use as a workshop. Will I need to put a camp proof course across the bottom of the wall? I will be using the airtex type honeycombe bricks about 6 inches thick so as to have some kind of insulation from the cold in the Aude winter and to keep some of the heat out in the lovely summers. any help will be welcomed!!John. Mysfloss
In first the 2/3 courses use hydrofuge en mass in the morter mix this will act as a damp proofer. It comes in sachets(usually 1 sachet for 50kgs ciment) that are mixed in with the water before the water is put in the mixer.
