hardhat
ty,ive never used it but you could try using plaster board glue its a similer consistancy to artex but it may go off a bit quicker,it will certainly hide bad joints if it does work, i have used it round some windows and the result looks fine
boris
i do,nt know of one that you mix like artex but i have used a good quality one bought by a french client from bricolage,i think it cost around 20 euro,s a tub and i found it very easy to use,it troweled on and unlike artex it covered imperfections in the wall perfectly
Patf
We bought some crepi for interior use at Mr. Bricolage and used it tocover an imperfect ceiling. I prefer plain paint even if there arebumps etc but husband is a perfectionist. Pat.
Nick Trollope
Crepi is wonderful. Sticks like sh*t to a blanket. I have found 2 methods of application that work; a) Spray it, 'tho you will need a good volume of air and a pukka sprayer (about 50€) or, apply it with a trowel then roller on a 4:1 mix (with water) when the trowelled layer is dry. Goes lovely & flat....Coverage is awful, needed about 7 15Kg tubs to do one (rough) room.
