Anton Redman
From memory :Turn off the old water inDisconnect the hot water out and open up the pipe on the outlet side. That is disconnect all the French hot water pipes. Open the black tap which lets the cylinder empty
Brilec
You don't have to undo anything.Turn off the cold water input on that valve, then open all the hot water taps. Then turn the knob on the safety valve a half turn and water will flow out of the tank into the drain.
