fossyd
We are converting a barn in Normandy and have made it to the living room stage succesfully. Now looking to install a Deville www.deville.fr/) woodburner, following the example of a French neighbour - but now need to install a chimney flue. Have found a number of companies in the UK selling insulated steel flues for about £80 - £100 per metre. My neigbour has the French equivelant but as a contractor fitted it he is not sure where it comes from. Does anyone know a French Manufacturer or retailer? What is the sytem called in French? Alcazar
Pretty sure that what you want is called a "gaine" in France, and should be available from most DIY sheds. The stuff I've got up our chimney is stainless double walled flexible.Alcazar
