River
We are told that we have to install a "mini station d'epuration" at our property as we are in close proximity to a river. We understand that this is a mini sewage plant discharging as close to 100% clean water as possible at the end of its process. Does anyone have any experience of these please? We have submitted a few ideas to the mayor but these have been turned down because they are not "floodproof". The area is on a flood plain, although we are informed that the last time it flooded was fifty plus years ago and the river has had flood prevention works along it. We are in a hamlet that is not going to be connected to mains drainage.Thanks. River[8-)]
chris pp
Can't help with your system but I will be very interested to know the outcome. In regard to being a flood plain, the problem isn't necessarily actual flooding but possibly the amount of pollution that will filter through underground, as this moves sideways through the ground and oozes through the bank sides.Chris
