Dick Smith
I hesitate to ask, but what do you mean by 'trumpeting'?If the water is not coming out at the front of the bowl could there be a blockage due to contamination? Is there sludge in the cistern?
Russethouse
Have you goot one of those economy flush cisterns? Are you pushing both bits ?
Nelson
We have found our systern which has a click on top does not allow air in quickly enough to allow a proper flow of water. To overcome this we remove the bung on the opposite side to the water inlet this allows air to rush in as the water rushes out.regards colin
tj
Hi MargieIn an old style toilet where there is a pipe from cistern to the bowl, if the pipe is not fitted correctly this causes the water to behave in such a manner. In a close coupled toilet an incorrect seating of the cistern again causes this problem.Insufficient quantity of water in cistern, damaged flush assembly...................if you cannot live with it, you need a plumber !Am busy this week but maybe next :)TimSaintes(17)
