Kingfisher
For the inspection of a property to qualify for a Certificate de Conformite does every room HAVE to have a telephone point? Would underfloor electrical heating pass if it did NOT have a NF stamp?

Aitch
I am in the process of having the wiring completed at the house, and then a subsequent CoC. I do not want telephone points, so is there a neccessity for these, or is it 'Mandatory' that they have to be installed? I have had no information from my electrician and he seems happy to provide for all my requirements, or does it depend upon which department (we're 36) you are in? La Guerriere
If it is a new system or a complete rewire and CONSUEL inspection, you probably have to have the telephone and television points.
Alane
And according to my book the points must be adjacent to a power socket and not impeded by an opening door!I have found "L'installation Electrique" very useful and relatively easily understandable with a modest command of French.
