Asbestos

We had the obligatory asbestos report done before we signed the

compromis.  When we were visiting the house a couple of weeks ago,

a builder pointed out that the waste / ventilation pipe pn the rear

wall was made of asbestos.  However, the asbestos report we had

came back clear - how come?  Are there different 'types' of

asbestos? Btw we haven't signed the A de V yet and will probably need a

second asbestos report as we are more than three months now from the

last one (a whole other story  [8-)] ) - so there is still an

opportunity to 'do' something.  Which brings me to my next

question.  If asbestos etc etc is identified on the report - what

can you do?  Does the vendor have to deal with / remove it?
