We finished decorating a bedroom a few weeks ago, ever since there has been a bad smell of cabbage. it seems to disappear overnight and get worse as the day progresses (we think as the room warms up). We used uk silk emulsion first on plasterboard and then 2 coats of French acrylic paint on top. Has anyone had any experience of smelly paint before and more important , how can we get rid of it? My suggestion of adding essential oil to the paint really works - but it means giving it another coat!!
