fulcrum
I don't know if anyone uses this in France but I am researching the possibility of doing so as it's far better than plastic piping and has similar characteristics to copper. It has the added advantage of not distorting when used with hot water and doesn't allow oxygen ingress.http://www.uponorhousingsolutions.co.uk/Products/plumbCom.aspx
Nick Trollope
It looks excellent, but I have never seen it here - which means a) that I haven't seen it or b) it doesn't sell here for another reason!I would ask the obviuos question; why? There are several NF-approved plastic products that work, here. Will the market stand another one?Edit - I've just noticed it needs special tools and installing by a "Uponor trained and certificated installer". Maybe it is too complicated for a 21st century market?
Anton Redman
France needs another plumbing system rather less than it needs another cheese. Unless your are prepared to use a specialist plumbers merchant like Brossette the odds are heavily against you being able to find even the limited number of joints and bends that you need for a new bathroom or kithcen without a grand tour of the local Quinquileries and DIY Sheds.Outside of a plumbers merchant in a large town the only outlet which I can guarantee to have everything you need to complete a job is BHV in either Paris or Bordeaux. BHV for those have not been is more like John Lewis but because they restrict themselves to one type of soldered/braised joint and one type on compression fitting they stock decent numbers of them
