normandie
[I]Just thought I'd ask whether anyone has found a really good colour for their doors on old farm buildings converted to houses? They have to be painted as a couple are beyond repair and have therefore been replaced but will need a paint finish.I imagine a grey green would look good against the stone walls and lime mortar but just thought I'd ask before I start the search !!!Is there a 'traditional' colour for external paint in La Manche/Normandy apart from white, or are estate/heritage colours more of a National Trust/English thing? Thanks in advance for any advice/photos?!Bonne journeeNormandie
Spongebob
Just repainted mine last summer/spring.I did them the same colour as they were done originally, ie: a very bright mid green. They look good, I only hope the new paint lasts as long as the old. Apparently they were last painted over 50 years ago!!!!!!!!!!Spongebob
